CHLORINE FREE WATER DISINFECTANT- AFALIN-D®
Afalin-D® is an excellent, chlorine free multifunctional liquid product for general cleaning & routine maintenance of swimming pool and water treatment. It is an active oxygen-based solution, which is used for regular disinfection of water in swimming pools, as well as wastewater treatment. Afalin-D® combines a disinfectant containing active oxygen and an activator of disinfecting action, which works in suppressing and preventing the growth of algae at the same time.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:
Normal Pool: 0.5 liter per 10m³ of water- once every 5-7 days (evening) With intensive use of the pool and at high climate temperatures, the dosage should be increased in accordance with an active oxygen level in the pool water. “Shock treatment”- 1 liter per 10m³. Requires a technical break in the pool for at least 12 hours. In case of increased turbidity of the water caused by organic pollution and the presence of algae, the dose can be increased to 2 liters per 10m³.

When chlorine dioxide- Duoxide-C® is being used for water treatment purposes, this chemical is able to disinfect water through the oxidation process. It is comprised of 19 separate electrons and will only attack substances that take up or give off an electron, which allows it to effectively get rid of unwanted substances in the water. When looking specifically at bacterial cells, Duoxide-C® works by interrupting a variety of cellular processes within the bacterial cells. While it’s unclear as to whether the carbon dioxide attacks the acids within the cell or the actual structure of the cell, it’s known that the substance prevents additional proteins from being produced.
